Peering out of two bays at the former GNoSR's Inverurie Works in Aberdeen are newly overhauled ex-LNER Gresley 'J38' 65900 and an unidentified ex-NBR Reid 'J37', the latter seemingly awaiting it's turn in the queue! The workman adds a little human interest as do the quartet of worker's bikes against the wall. Interestingly, Inverurie was a repair and overhaul facility and only ever built 10 locomotives! The photo was taken in August 1961.
