Almost certainly a Paddington bound train coming in from Cheltenham (St James). A common 94XX duty - and did they fly up the joint line! Only to be stopped at tramway to let the slower midland train into Eastgate before it could cross over into Central and the waiting Castle that would be attached at the other end to take the train on up the Stroud valley.
