Still bearing her " F 13 " Target Board from her last day's work banking on the Lickey Incline 8403 is seen here on shed at Bromsgrove , to where she was reallocated from her previous home a long way down in Devon at Newton Abbot in early 1957 .
Her sister engine , 8404 , also from Newton Abbot , made up a total of seven of these Pannier Tanks sent to Bromsgrove from a variety of Depots , to undertake banking duties on the Lickey Incline , with six others being added later on, and following earlier trials with Cardiff Canton's 8402 the previous year when the famous " Big Bertha " 58100 had been withdrawn.
