After spending its early years in the north at Patricroft and then Grimesthorpe, BR Standard Class �5� 4-6-0 No. 73043 moved to the Southern Region at Eastleigh in late 1962. In May 1965 it went to Guildford, and finally to Nine Elms in June 1966. It was working an express from Southampton in this picture taken in late 1965/6.
