73025 had arrived at Shrewsbury in 1959 and except for a brief transfer away for 2 months in 1965, remained at Shrewsbury untill May1966. Shrewsbury Standard 5's were used on all sorts of work from the Stafford - Shrewsbury stoppers, the Central Wales trains and summer holiday expresses.
