A pleasing view of Manchester's Trafford Park MPD. Opened in 1895, it was originally jointly owned by the Cheshire Lines Committee and the Midland Railway. Riddles BR 'Standard 5' 73143, a 'Black 5', a BR 'Britannia' and a Fairburn '4P' Tank 42675 are evident in this 1960 photograph. The shed closed in March 1968.
