The chalked headcode on the smokebox is '1V32' so the train is the summer Saturdays Wolverhampton Low Level to Weymouth, after the ex GWR lines in the Midlands were transferred to the LMR, and the train became an inter-regional working. I'd date the picture as 1964 or 1965 when 73020 was a Weymouth loco. In 1965 1V32 was a Weymouth BR 5MT throughout on alternate Saturdays, the loco having worked north on 1M33 Weymouth to Wolverhampton Low Level 7 days previously.
