Michael Fox adds the details "Almost certainly this was taken just before 2nd October 1982. On this date the up home signal on the left of the picture was replaced by the colour light which can be seen standing in readiness. (Details taken from my contemporary diary entries). The train is the Holyhead RTZ to Humber refinery petroleum coke empties, identifiable from the distinctive wagons used."
