Darlington, like all MPD's adjacent to 'Works', enthusiasts were usually treated to seeing locomotives in sparkling condition after receiving overhauls and before returning to their respective allocated sheds. On this occasion it's Tyne Dock (54B) allocated ex-NER Raven 'Q7' 63462 that is on display. Photo dated Sunday 29th April 1956.
