Clearly with the old post war LNER livery and number showing through. It had been re-painted in BR livery at Cowlairs in October or November 1949 but they were short of BR crest transfers at that period so this would come later. Withdrawn from Haymarket shed on 24 November 1958, the SLS data also has this date but in addition 'To Store' w/e 21st March 1959. Yeadon Vol 50 has it scrapped at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Wishaw in May 1959. For many years it was a Waverley pilot, but unlike others never received BR lining. Withdrawn J35 No 64486 is in front of it.
