Robinson GCR B1 4-6-0 No 1479, now class B18, makes a fine sight storming up the GC main line near Barnstone summit with the 6.16pm Nottingham Victoria to Marylebone relief on August 10, 1947 just four months before its withdrawl after 44 years of service.
