An unidentified Great Northern Railway 0-6-0 Saddletank is shunting the gas-lit yard at Ossett Station. Circa 1910; entry to the yard (from the r.h.s) was from The Green or via New Street (from the l.h.s). ‘Local duty’ locomotives like this one were stationed at Ardsley engine shed.
