Caledonian Railway Pickersgill ‘72’ class 4-4-0 No. 44 at Nr. Stanley Junction, Perthshire in the 1920s. Note the LNWR bogie open carriage truck leading the express. Built by Armstrong, Whitworth & Co. in March 1921 and was withdrawn as BR No. 54489 in December 1961.
