SR E1R 0-6-2T No 32697 recorded as shunting ECS at Exeter St.Davids on 3 September 1958, although it could be ready to bank a train up to Central. Note the particularly fine ex LMS Period II open third No M 8749 M.
Peter Kerslake adds " I think 32697 is doing a bit of station pilot work down here at Exeter St.Davids rather than preparing for a banking duty as the LMR coach and its companion appear to be in the bay platform rather than on the main line up to Central .
