WLLR 822 1951-09-10 Welshpool
WLLR 0-6-0T No. 822 climbs the bank to Canal Bridge immediately after leaving the yard in Welshpool with a goods train on 10th September 1951. The line crossed over the Shropshire Union Canal on a single 33ft 4in. span girder bridge before crossing the A483 Church Street and diving through a gap between the buildings and alongside shops and cottages to emerge at the site of the present-day Raven Square station.
