70028 Rising Star passes Hayes & Harlington with the up 'Red Dragon' bound for Paddington on 17th October 1959.

Peter Kerslake adds "70028 was the fourth of the five Britannias sent new to Cardiff Canton in late 1952. Note the hand-holds cut into the smoke deflectors which replaced the oriiginal hand rails which were removed from a number of the Britannias following the fatal derailment of 70026 Polar Star at Milton, near Didcot in November 1955."
