One of the Kingmoor regulars, Britannia No. 70023, formerly named Venus, remains on the Down Main as it passes through with a Class D express freight on 8th September 1967. It would not have been routed that way because of the first wagon, the Bobbies on duty would not have worried about the nuclear container carried by the adapted bolster wagon. Above the locomotive across the yard can be seen the wagon repair shops, still in use today for railway engineering by the West Coast Railway Company Ltd.
