I don't quite understand what's going on here with a couple of Britannias together with a Class Five all apparently coupled up on an express parcels or fitted freight, but it makes an interesting photograph nevertheless. 70051 Firth of Forth had been allocated when built in August 1954 to Glasgow's Polmadie Depot before moving to Corkerhill in April 1962 and then to a variety of depots before withdrawal from Carlisle Kingmoor, from where so many Britannias ended their days, in December 1967.
