The X says it all - this was a Gorton practice. From 1946, loco was allocated to Bradford and then Ardsley, until withdrawn and cut up at Gorton Works in 1951. Loco did not receive any attention at Doncaster, all works visits were to Gorton, so although the negative was labelled Doncaster we think this is Gorton.
