67436 1953-10-17 Winsford & Over Station

Ex-Great Central Railway Robinson '9K' (LNER 'C13') class 4-4-2 Tank No. 67436. Built at Gorton in April 1905 as GCR No. 359 and withdrawn in February 1956.

The RCTS 'Warrington & District Railtour' was run on 17th October 1953 with 67436 handling the entire itinerary commencing at (and returning to) Warrington Bank Quay Station. The route was largely run on former CLC metals and here is the train at the terminus station at Winsford & Over with the two push-pull fitted ex-GCR coaches that were used throughout.
