Over many decades, the GCR Robinson '9K' (LNER 'C13') Tanks were to be seen on station pilot duties and handling 'local' passenger trains at Manchester London Road Station (later Picadilly). 67423 is centre stage obscuring an EM1 electric. By 1960 the last 'C13' was withdrawn from Gorton. Photo dated May 1955.
