67417 1951 Guide Bridge
It is a sad reflection on modern times, that immaculately clean and litter-free platforms are a rarity. Not so back in 1951, when ex-GCR Robinson 'C13' 4-4-2 Tank No. 67417 was photographed at Guide Bridge Station near Manchester with a 2-coach 'local' passenger train. Built locally at Gorton in Aug. 1903 as GCR No. 191, it would be withdrawn in January 1960.
