Even the ghastly LNER 'flowerpot' replacement chimney cannot totally spoil the lines of ex-GCR Robinson '9L' (LNER 'C14') Tank 67448 though it makes a good attempt at doing so! It is in in the yard at Gorton MPD, Manchester close to its birthplace (Beyer, Peacock June 1907). Photo dated September 1956.
