As can be seen, the small shed at Chester Northgate MPD had been rebuilt in 1950 as a 2-road brick-built affair. Standing outside are a pair of ex-GCR Robinson '9L' (LNER 'C13') Atlantic Tanks. Nos. 67414 and (scruffy) push-pull fitted 67436. Photo dated October 1954.
