English Electric type 4 No D205 at Cambridge in 1960c. Initially I thought this was either a diverted ECML train or possibly a Norwich service running in and about to take the scissors cross over in the middle of the staion to access the single through platform. However the signal is at danger and it is too early for the Bobby to have returned it. In addition there does not appear to be any obvious brake accomodation in the passenger vehicles so this may be a stationary locomotive shunting stock or simply waiting for an incoming service. I guess we will never know!
