Ivatt Class ‘2’ 2-6-0 No.46505 has collected the Shrewsbury coaches from the train which has arrived from Aberystwyth and follows the BR 2-6-4T on the Whitchurch portion out. Although it has an 89D Oswestry shed plate, it had been transferred from there to Willesden in March 1963 and then to Chester in May, neither shed having replaced the Oswestry shed plate by the date of this picture.
