As it is the last day of the M&GN it should be possible to identify this LMS Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 tender-first with a down local approaching Saxby on 28 February 1959. It could be 43085 as this was working this section tender first earlier that day on three coaches however it was using a LNER pattern of headlamp as opposed to the LMS one seen here.
