J27 0-6-0 No 65796 leaves Percy Main with a train of empty coal hoppers from the Northumberland Dock staith in 1965. The coaling stage for the shed is seen above the loco which was situated on the opposite side of Howdon Road Bridge to the shed. 65842 is leaving the shed heading for Seaton Delaval signal box. .
