Recorded as on a Treherbert-Swansea working, could this be correct or is it a special?
Chris Foren says "There were several trains a day between Treherbert and Neath or Swansea. Before the timetable revision of September 1953 some started back from or continued to Cardiff Queen Street and there was at least one working from Neath to Queen Street in the revised timetable. This train was photographed prior to the timetable change. The first two coaches are a B set. Such sets were not in regular use in the Cardiff Valleys in the new timetable. As the train is at Treorchy it cannot be a Treherbert - Swansea service but there were such things and one may have been its next trip. "
