The Western Region in its usual fashion repainted as many locomotives as possible in Great Western lined green including ‘5101’ No.4178 waiting at Snow Hill with a local in 1962. Its shed plate is missing which suggests this picture was probably taken after its transfer from Wellington to Stourbridge Junction in August and before its subsequent move to Leamington the following month.
