Leamington shed’s ‘5101’ 2-6-2T No.4171 in the mid-1950s at Solihull on a northbound local. It had been transferred from Tyseley in October 1954. No.4171 was built by British Railways in October 1949 essentially to the same basic Churchward design from fifty years earlier. Note in the background the sheeted wagons which carried the car bodies and parts from Pressed Steel at Cowley to Rover at Solihull.
