The Birmingham area ‘Prairie’ tanks worked on freights as well as the suburban trains. ‘5101’ 2-6-2T No.4170 from Tyseley is on a trip working at Snow Hill on 2nd June 1954. The October 1949 built engine was an early withdrawal, in September 1960.
