In conversation with an ex Tyseley driver the other day Amanda Hambidge mentiond the 41XX used as a boiler inside the shed and he said it was number 4176, This was was withdrawn from Oxley in October 1965 and continued as a Stationary boiler, hence the missing rods, until March 1967. It was cut up at Cashmore's Great Bridge. Given that the shed wall has collapsed around it I think this must be close to the date of its departure.
