9365 1920s where
LNWR 7F 0-8-0 No 9365 in c1929. 9365 had an interesting life first entering traffic in September 1902 as a Webb 4-cyl compound 0-8-0 (class B) with the LNWR no 1036. In 1907 it was rebuilt by George Whale into a 2-8-0 with a larger boiler (5'2) but retaining the compounding (class F). Eventually in 1921 it was rebuilt again into the form shown here becoming a G1. The LMS insignia shown were applied in March 1928 and here it still has a smokebox number plate so itis soon after that. Clearly it was also an early recipient of a Belpaire firebox and it was withdrawn in March 1949 and never received its allocated BR number 49365
