The diminutive Deeley 0-4-0STs were only seen at Derby when they came to the Works for overhaul. This one, No.41532, photographed on 13th August 1961 was the last of the first batch of five built in 1907. The engines were based at sheds where their short wheelbase was needed to shunt sidings with sharp curves such those at Burton, where this engine was shedded from April 1955.
