Tony Overton says "I was born in Coalville in 1958 and can just remember catching trains from the station during the last years of passenger operation. I then started my railway career at Mantle Lane Sidings (visible in the far distance) in 1974 and because of being able to combine work with my interest in local railway history got to know the location intimately.
