Gomersal Station in West Yorkshire opened in October 1900 and closed in Oct. 1953. It was situated on the L&NWR's 'Leeds New Line' that diverged at Heaton Lodge Junction near Mirfield, offering a more direct alternative route to Leeds. This view is looking towards Leeds with the line curving away to the right through what is now Oakwell Hall Country Park. A short section in the park is now a public footpath.
