With a crude repain to the running plate angle, LNWR 2F 0-6-2T Coal Tank No 7700 in the cutting up area of Crewe Works on 2 May 1948. Although the wheels have been marked up ready for works stripping, the words 'cut' have been chalked ont he tank. The decision was taken in March.
