Ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' class 4-6-0 No. 61076. Built by NBL of Glasgow in September 1946 as LNER No. 1076 and withdrawn in September 1965.

Daylight filters down into the depths of Waverley Station in April 1965 with 61076 having just arrived. As with all major stations (and many lesser ones), the absence of litter on the platforms was a feature of perhaps a more ordered age.
