Ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' class 4-6-0 No. 61029 'Chamois'. Built at Darlington in June 1947 as LNER No.1029 and withdrawn in December 1966.

Sandwiched between a 'Black 5' and a 'Clan', 61029 apears to be in reasonable fettle! Remarkably, it retains its nameplates and continued to do so at least until October 1966!
