Ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' class 4-6-0 No. 61012 'Puku'. Built at Darlington in Nov. 1946 as LNER No. 1012 and withdrawn in June 1967. All the 'trip' workings in and around Hull had a 'J' prefix, I have never seen a list but trip 'J10' is leaving Sculcoates Goods Yard in December 1965. 'Puku', with a shunter's pole on the bufferbeam, has 'lost' her nameplates either for safe keeping or by 'liberation' as theft by collectors was euphemistically called!
