61050 was transferred to Departmental Stock as No.30 and re-allocated to Barrow Hill MPD when Canklow shed closed totally in September 1966. The engine ran 'light engine' between duties to take water at Rotherham Masborough and coal at Royston and, later, Normanton MPD, and was last used in December 1967 when it ran a hot box and was withdrawn in April 1968.
