This is a fine June 1963 panorama of the ex-GCR & GNR Nottingham Victoria Station (1900-1967), a much mourned loss to Nottingham's transport infrastructure. Smart ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 4-6-0 No. 61062 rumbles southward with a mixed freight passing a DMU in an adjacent platform. 61062 was built by NBL of Glasgow in Aug. 1946 as LNER No. 1062 and was withdrawn in Aug. 1964.
