Fowler LMS class 4 2-6-4T No 2307, in crimson livery, stands under the Great Central bridge at Nottingham Midland in 1928. Later this loco had a long association with the Central Wales line being allocated to Shrewsbury (1942) and then Swansea Paxton Street from 1947 until closure in 1959
