LMS Class 4P 2-6-4T No 2339 with passenger train at Ilkeston Town view along platform towards buffers on 27 June 1933. The former MR station closed to passengers on 10 July 1950, having been open on a restricted basis since 16 June 1947 and to goods operations by 1960.
