LNWR George the Fifth 5402 Carnarvon in bay platform at Chester ? in c1930.

Geoffrey Luckhurst says "I'd like to suggest that the location is not Chester as originally thought but is Llandudno Junction. Reasons: the overhead trusses of this type are not to be seen at Chester. But they are at Llandudno Junction in both the west-facing and east-facing bays. You can see these on your own site where loco 80045 is in the east-facing bays.
There is also a covered footbridge that can be seen. Admittedly there used to be a footbridge near the west-facing bays at Chester but then that bay area was 3 lines wide, not 2 as here.
Just above the back of the tender you can see bits of houses. I suggest these are on the Conway Road.
And the loco is sporting a 38 shedplate; Llandudno Junction.
To sum up: I suggest Llandudno Junction in the west-facing ( towards Llandudno/Bangor ) bay area".
