With 5702. The train is fascinating (to me at least!). It is a special with a headboard which is probably a 'works outing' - all that can be read on it is 'London' unfortunately. The stock is ex LYR coaches re-painted in LMS colours, with a non-corridor brake (third?) leading then much more modern open corridor coaches with 'ironclad' bogies. This would suggest a trip originating in Lancashire.
The engines have both had their cab roofs re-profiled to the Midland Railway loading gauge.
