Raising steam in the engine shed at Doxfords Shipyard, Sunderland on 25th August 1969. In view are ‘Millfield’ and ‘Hendon’ built 1942 and 1940 respectively by Robert Stephenson and Hawthorn using parts which had been stored since 1918.
