Peter Kerslake continues 61545 has a clear road signalled away to the North Norfolk coast having worked down from Peterborough via Wisbech. There was a small locomotive depot here at South Lynn, the main shed being at Kings Lynn, and the area was renowned for its production of sugar beet, the sweet smell from which could often be detected at Kings Lynn if the wind was in the right direction!

61545 displays her elegant lins to the full in this fine low level portrait here at South Lynn on the outskirts of Kings Lynn as she has the road homeward bound for her shed at Yarmouth Beach doubtless having worked this duty from Peterborough East .
