An Arundel train bowls along the south coast line passing Yapton in September 1937. In charge is green liveried D1 0-4-2T No 2226. Built in 1885 as No 226 ‘Westham’ for working London suburban traffic, this veteran remained in service until 1940, finished in lined SR livery to the end.
